Wendy’s Frosties are the ultimate treat. Since their introduction in 1969, Wendy’s has consistently sold approximately 300 million Frosties each year. After the immediate success of the seasonal Peppermint Frosty last November, the franchise is rumored to be bringing another seasonal dessert to the US this summer: the long-awaited Caramel Apple Frosty.

The rumor first started after Instagram user @snackolator revealed a Wendy’s employee confirmed Wendy’s locations in the US are starting to receive ingredients to make Caramel Apple Frosties. The sweet treat was originally launched last September in Canada. Made of vanilla ice cream mixed with tart apple syrup and drizzled with caramel, the dessert dazzled Canadians. US consumers quickly rose to protest the lack of Caramel Apple Frosties in the states.

This sounds like the perfect treat to end the summer. Bring it on!!!

The closest thing to a Caramel Apple Frosty in the US was Wendy’s Caramel Apple Frosty Parfait, sold over ten years ago. Needless to say, several customers in the US are incredibly excited for Wendy’s newest arrival. The Caramel Apple Frosty will be taking the Strawberry Frosty’s spot on the Wendy’s menu until mid-November. After that, the Peppermint Frosty will be released in select locations for the winter season.

All of the seasonal Frosties replace the Vanilla Frosty, so don’t be surprised if you can’t find the traditional dessert until mid-February. The restaurant chain has only had two frosty making machines in each location since 2006, and it seems they’re in no hurry to have a third.

With all locations preparing to sell out this fall, we suggest checking the Wendy’s app or their website to see if a location near you has the Caramel Apple Frosty in stock. To do this, select either order pickup or delivery in the main menu section. Set the location of your nearest Wendy’s restaurant and begin putting your order together. The app should have all menu items that are not currently available visible, but not able to be purchased. If the Wendy’s location closest to you is out of Caramel Apple Frosties, simply pick a new location and try again.

The Jr. Caramel Apple Frosties are $1.99, and the Large Caramel Apple Frosties are $3.59 depending on location. With such a sweet treat and a sweet price, Caramel Apple Frosties are sure to be a hit this Fall. Many Wendy’s employees and connoisseurs suggest ordering the dessert when it first comes to a Wendy’s near you. I know I’ll be keeping an eye out for the Caramel Apple Frosties triumphant addition to Wendy’s menu.
