Why is this dish so special?

When I was a kid, I remember liking vegetables like carrots, corn, pumpkin, squash, and tomatoes (until tomatoes became a fruit, of course). However, the time I spent trying to enjoy greens like broccoli was difficult, to say the least. My parents wouldn’t let my siblings and I leave the dinner table until we finished all our food, and broccoli was no exception.

There were moments when I considered stuffing the broccoli in my dress pocket. Once my mom found broccoli chunks in the washing machine though, she kept stronger surveillance over me.

There was no escaping. I had no choice but to swallow the inordinate tree scarps!

When I became a teenager, my palate transformed. I tried to find ways to incorporate greens into my diet. That’s when I discovered Broccoli Cheddar soup. I always knew I loved cheese, but I never imagined it would taste so good with green vegetables.

I was in a fast-food restaurant the first time I tasted it. It’s an established fact that fast-food joints use harmful ingredients to make their meals more appetizing. Another fun fact for you is that I am always broke, so I don’t have the funds to eat out every day.

When I decided to make a large batch of Broccoli Cheddar soup at home, I was thrilled with the results. Everybody ate a decent helping along with some toasted bread. Also, the leftovers served me well for the rest of the week.

Broccoli Cheddar soup is synonymous with comfort and coziness. There is nothing better than the sunny scoops that heat your insides. This type of dish will satisfy everyone. It goes perfectly inside a bread bowl or with some bread on the side. It will help heal those who are sick or desperate for a hearty dinner.

That’s what makes Broccoli Cheddar soup so special!
