SONIC first came out with their celebrity drink remixes on July 17th. The popularity of these famous drinks inspired SONIC to make remixes a permanent fixture on their menu.
Our connection to music runs deep, and we are always looking for ways to authentically incorporate music into what we do. Whether they’re jamming in the car at the drive-in or at a music festival, we know music is a huge part of of our fan’s lives. Now we’re partnering with these talented artists to showcase their favorite ways to customize their drinks at SONIC. Just as their genres offer music for every fan, there’s a drink to satisfy every craving.

JP Saxe’s sweet SONIC remix
Known for his music dedicated to love, it’s no surprise JP Saxe’s drink is as sweet as his songs. The singer created a mango slush with nerds candy to top it off.
Kelsea Ballerini’s nostalgic drink
The country star chose a to blend Ocean Water with blue raspberry and lime flavor. Its refreshing, fruity taste is the perfect way to end your summer.
I have so many summertime memories from my teen years until now that involve SONIC. From going with friends after games to grabbing something to sip on the way to soundcheck. My go to has always been an Ocean Water, and when you remix it with blue raspberry and real limes… its vacation in a cup.

Another country star graces the SONIC menu with her presence. Lainey Wilson made sprite soda with real strawberries on top, and sugar-free mango flavoring.
Metro Boomin’s simple lemonade
The music sensation of the summer doesn’t overdo it with flavor. Metro Boomin prefers a simple lemonade with strawberry and vanilla flavoring mixed in. He shared the special meaning behind his remix.
SONIC brings back memories from my childhood. Growing up it was one of my go-to spots to grab a quick bite with my family. Now whether I’m home or on tour, I hit a local SONIC. You can’t beat a lemonade with vanilla and real strawberries, especially in the summer heat.

SONIC remixes forever
The SONIC remixes were an immediate hit. The offer was originally only going to last through the summer. With so many fans, SONIC has decided to keep the remixes forever with a twist.
Now you can create your own SONIC remix. You can mix cranberry or mango flavoring into your drink. Or you can top it off with real fruits like cherries, lemons, and strawberries. You can even add nerds candy to your creation.
This new addition comes after the raging success of the Sour Patch Kids Slush Float. The drink was released in May, 2022. It consisted of Vanilla ice cream with Sour Patch Kids watermelon flavor slush with Sour Patch Kids candy on top.
Partial proceeds of the drink went to Limeades for Learning. A program that supports teachers and education efforts nationwide. SONIC hasn’t commented if the donations will be made from remix profits.
