If you are looking for a delicious snack to quench your cravings and nourish your body, hummus is the perfect choice. I have always been known to come home after a long day and nibble on some hummus and crackers. Recently I have been trying to eat healthier, so I substituted the crackers for baby carrots.
The crunch and creaminess that emanates from this combination is simply stunning!
Why is sweet potato hummus so unique?

There is nothing better than a delicacy that can be made into different flavors. In my household, we have tried most varieties of hummus. We enjoy the classic staple, roasted red pepper, spicy, cilantro, and artichoke. Every time I go to the supermarket, I pick up a new tub, because I like to add hummus to most of my meals.
Recently I tried spreading a generous helping of hummus to my whole-grain toast in the morning. Instead of adding butter and jam to my bread for breakfast (which I still love), I choose hummus because it’s more filling. Also, it’s nice to know I am adding some nutritional value to my food when I start the day.
There are days when, instead of accompanying my food with regular French fries, I opt for the sweet potato kind. I appreciate the sweet and salty taste. However, when I found a sweet potato hummus recipe, I was beyond intrigued.
Sweet potato is not only delicious, but it can also be incorporated seamlessly into delicacies like this. You still have the star ingredient, which is the garbanzo bean. Even so, when you add sweet potato into the mix, you are in for a smooth and tasty appetizer you will never forget.
This is a dish you need to try. Regardless of if it’s for your next dinner party or for plain snacking, you will be glad to keep it in your fridge for any occasion.
